The SGA Pipes and Drums (South) is made up of mostly civilians with ex Scots Guardsman as the Pipe Major, Pipe Sergeant and Band President. A number of Pipers are also ex military but the band is open to all. We practice every Sunday morning in Windsor and would love to see you. The tuition available through the band is second to none. We welcome inexperienced and experienced players alike. We are dedicated to being he best that we can be and compete regularly on the RSPBA competition circuit.

The band is led by Pipe Major Steven Duffy (ex Scots Guards). Steve has a vast amount of experience as a band leader and much sought after tutor.

Dixie Ingram
Dixie needs little introduction. A Grade 1 Pipe Major and senior judge on the RSPBA circuit, he bring a wealth of experience to the organisation.
Graham Waller
Graham is the Pipe Sergeant, he was Pipe Major of the renowned Pride of Murray Pipe Band and has extensive teaching experience.
Engagements
The band will undertake a program of engagements throughout the year, this could be as diverse from performing at a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, a prestigious Polo Match on Smith’s Lawn Windsor or at an International Tattoo in Berlin!
